
Extraordinary Eurogroup meeting in Brussels on February 11, 2015 / tvnewsroom.consilium.europa.eu/
Eurozone finance ministers gathered at an emergency session in Brussels on Wednesday (February 11), under pressure to devise a stopgap plan to keep Greece solvent as the latter tries to revise or even scrap the terms of its international bailout agreement.
A central player in the meeting, which is expected to run well into the night, is Yanis Varoufakis, Greece’s combative new finance minister. He has described the bailout programme as an economic disaster for his country.
Varoufakis is expected to present plans for a short-term financial bridging arrangement — one that would relax at least some of Greece’s austerity conditions.

Na srečanju finančnih ministrov evropskupine so pozorno prisluhnili predlogom Janisa Varufakisa za kompromis Grčije in mednarodnih posojilodajalcev, a dogovora še ne bo takoj.Šef evroskupine Jeroen Dijsselbom je poudaril, da je izhodišče za pogovore obstoječi program, ter izrazil upanje, da bo Grčija ostala na poti reform, saj so se te doslej obrestovale. Grških predlogov ni želel komentirati, češ da morajo najprej slišati, kaj bo povedal minister.
