The new Italian President Sergio Mattarella dedicated part of his inaugural speech to Europe, asking for a re-launch of a true political union.
Mattarella speech comes in a very delicate moment for Italy in the European Union, because of the new economic forecasts and the risk of Community procedures on public accounts in March.
